Room 108’s Community Rap

Every community has some rules,
That we must all obey.
If you all don’t follow the rules,
Someone might get a boo-boo.

Have we got a rap for you…

We should follow all those rules,
Like no running in our schools.
No cheating, no fighting, no chewing any gum, no lying, no stealing, no kicking anyone.
Mrs. Burns is the boss and the teachers are too.
All the janitors, secretaries, aids, and you.
Throwing garbage on the floor is a big no, no.
Talking with a test, sitting on your desk,
Can get you in trouble and sent to the Hubbell "Satellite."
So, this is what we’re teaching
Don’t be sleeping
Because these are the rules of our cool school.

Mr. DeMaio’s class recently completed their unit on structures. The final part of the unit involved building different structures that could hold various amounts of weight.

Our classroom will be having some of our parents come in to visit us to talk about their jobs. So far, we have had Dr. Genovese come in to talk about being a chiropractor and Mr. Gemellaro to talk about working with the security of the United States Postal Service. Here are some pictures from Mr. Gemellaro’s visit.
