Jelly Bean Graphing

Mrs. Gagliardi’s third grade students recently completed an unusual unit on graphing. Students were given a cup full of jellybeans. They had to tally the number of each color they had. Students were then able to eat their jellybeans! Once the task was completed, students took a trip to the computer lab. Mrs. Connors and Mr. Harvey helped the class graph their results using Excel. Mrs. Connors took the class through a step-by-step lesson on how to graph. The final results were amazing! The students were overwhelmed and excited by their accomplishments in the computer lab. It was great!
