SECOND GRADE ENJOYS "THE MITTEN"

Second Grade enjoyed their reading unit "The Mitten". They had lots of fun reading the story by Jan Brett, reading the play, and then making the puppets and performing the play in our puppet theatre. They also did lots of other activities including writing stories about winter, doing a research report on their favorite animal in the story, reading other Jan Brett books, and finished the unit by each writing a letter to Jan Brett. They can’t wait to see what she writes back.
